The recreational sector red snapper will open for harvest on weekends only (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) on the following days:
- November 3, 4, and 5, 2017 – The recreational season opens at 12:01 a.m., local time, on November 3, 2017, and closes at 12:01 a.m., local time, on November 6, 2017.
- November 10, 11, and 12, 2017 – The recreational season opens again at 12:01 a.m., local time, on November 10, 2017, and closes at 12:01 a.m., local time, on November 13, 2017.
The following trips will be able to keep red snapper-
On the Halfway Ledge trip we will stop on the ride home to get our limit of red snapper. Why? Because we will be in the GOM the for this trip and we can’t keep them in that area.
So if you would like to get some reds now is the time to book!
