I have held off here for a few days writing a report. Not sure what I wanted to say or how to say it. That being said I have never fudged my reports for the last 25 years. I have always been brutally honest and forth coming. No need to change now.

In my own words the catching stunk last week. Conditions were all over the place. The wind was up and down. The tide was screaming most of the time. We did a get a break on the slack for about a hour. That was the only time we caught any amount. At one point I was at a loss as to what to do. I have been doing this a long time and its been a long time since I felt that way. I could tell on trips tempers were short and I know people were second guessing me. I don’t blame them.  I do appreciate that people who were supportive. Believe me that helps.

Thankfully this week I was able to recharge the batteries, I was busy fixing a autopilot so I was able to focus my energy on that. I don’t like to dwell on tough fishing but after this past month its been bothering me.

So tonight we start anew. Headed to Pulley Ridge for a 3 day trip. Weather looks favorable. I’m ready to get out of this funk. It is time.

Thanks for looking,

Greg
