Just back from Rankin Ridge. Not much too report. Conditions were tough. At times we needed up to five pounds of lead to be effective. Then add just enough wind going along with the tide to be a pain. Plus the the bite was off too.

On a positive note we did managed to find a edge that had a good show of queen snappers. However as stated before withe very quick drift it was tough to say on top of them.

I learned very quickly on this trip we need specific conditions. Even more specific than a Pulley trip, When we do get the stars aligned on this trip we are going to see some exceptional catches.
