Some guys did well. This trip was all about matching the technique to the conditions. We had a quick drift for most of the day so you had to fish smart.  A group on the stern did that and they had some great looking quality fish.

As I have stated before this is the trip that you can’t be afraid to work for your catch. Putting your rod in the rod holder and waiting for the bite just is not going to work 99% of the time. In other words follow my tackle requirements to the letter and listen to our instructions on the trip. I know I keep harping on this but you don’t have much leeway if you want to be successful. Back out for a Tortugas charter this weekend. We have not been out that way in a while so it will be nice to do something different.
