Halfway Ledge is a stretch of broken bottom, approximately 25 miles beyond the Dry Tortugas. After driving over this area extensively and making a few exploratory drops along this ridge, this spot has proven to have an excellent showing of black and scamp grouper, large yellow-eye and mutton snapper in roughly 200-400 feet of water.

All deep drop trips have a very SPECIFIC TACKLE REQUIREMENT LIST! Halfway Ledge trips use Pulley LITE tackle.
Please refer to our tackle page and be sure you have the ability to obtain ALL the required gear before making your reservation. Rental gear is not available and this specific list is truly required to succeed on a trip like this.

Because conditions for a trip in this area must be JUST so, and the weather in the winter and early spring can be more unpredictable, this trip requires only a $200 deposit, but it is non-refundable unless we cancel due to weather.

Anglers may ONLY choose rail spots on the LEFT (PORT) side of the boat. Any angler who books online and chooses a position on the stern or starboard sides will be moved randomly and at the discretion of the crew.

$670 per person, plus Florida State tax= $720.25
