Happy to report I pulled this trip out of my you know what!

Day 1 started out on the deep very slow. Just few fish every drift. By the end of the day we had about 2/3 of one side of the white box. The first part of the night on top of the bank was just slow pick too. Thankfully a move to a different edge made a big difference, From 1:00 AM till fist light we managed 7 totes of muttons, blackfin snapper and tunas.

Day 2 in the deep started very slow. Slower than the previous day. A area change made all the difference. Grey tiles were very aggressive making up a bulk of the catch. Also making a appearance were golden tiles. black belly rosefish and long tail bass. Although We had to put in 3 hours of overtime we managed to fill all the back back boxes by the end of the trip

Pictured below is the “Gamboa Fishslayer” with his biggest mutton, blacken tuna and a 59 pound warsaw grouper. If you look on the left side of the picture you can see his full coolers.
